ประวัติความเป็นมา

Thai Ecotourism and Adventure Travel Association (TEATA)

TEATA is a network of eco-conscious tourism professionals,

including tour operators, accommodations, communities,

and adventure tourism experts. Through collaboration with government,

private sector, and civil society at both national and international levels,

TEATA champions ecosystem conservation and sustainable tourism practices.

In its first decade, TEATA focused on enhancing professional standards,

with an emphasis on conservation and adventure tourism.

The second decade saw efforts to elevate sustainable tourism

to international standards, introducing

"Sustainable Tourism Standards and Routes"

aligned with Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) criteria and embracing low-carbon tourism concepts.

Now, in its third decade, TEATA is advancing toward "carbon neutral tourism"

while creatively integrating circular economy principles to drive long-term sustainability.
